Masonic Fishing

Suffolk has an active branch of the Masonic Trout and Salmon Fishing Charity known as the MTSFC. The purpose is to give the community and people in Suffolk with a disadvantaged background the chance of a day's fishing or countryside experience. Huge benefits can be gained from participating in the sport and the experience that they will receive. Many lodges in Suffolk sponsor a day's fishing. It is operated by the Fishing event team, it can be coarse or fly fishing across the county. The group holds on average two or three events per year.

If you have a SEN school or group who would benefit from such an event, please get in touch. If you are a lodge and would like to sponsor an event in your area please also get in touch.

We are always looking for Freemasons or friends who would like to volunteer to tutor a child or young adult on how to fish for an event. A DBS check is needed, and the charity can organise this, please register your interest at https://mtsfc.org.uk/casterhelper-reg.htm.
